HIDROPROJECTO provides services in the fields of Engineering, Management and Consultancy, covering:

	Elaboration of studies and designs
	Provision and supply of goods and services;
	Management and operation of systems;
	Management and control of construction quality;
	Management and supervision of construction works;
	Supervision of supplies and contracts

Since its foundation by Professor Armando Lencastre in December 1966, when the first independent engineering consultancy companies emerged in Portugal, the company extended the initial scope of its activities, although its mission has essentially remained "Engineering Environment and Quality of Life".

HIDROPROJECTO is part of the INGÉROP Group of Consulting Engineers, with headquarters in France.
